Omg for some reason matpat isn’t trending on tumblr even though this is literally the biggest news ever!

For those who don’t know he’s taking a step back from YouTube. It seems like he’ll still be doing work on in the background for the channels but he won’t be hosting for any of the channels anymore.

And I along with so many other are heart broken about this but I really hope he can find a sense of balance for his life from now on. He was a huge part of my childhood and his theory’s taught me so much not only about random facts but about how to look at things from different angles. Also because of his content I was introduced to more that a few games that I now love. I am beyond ecstatic to see what he creates in the future and am happy to support him with whatever he winds up doing, and that is more than just a Theory.

Oh and all of this isn’t even mentioning how excited I am to see what the new hosts for the channels wind up turning it into. So here’s to the new year and the new era of game theory!

and then he sees you—the most beautiful mortal, that you’re even compared to the gods, to his mother. he wants you so bad, if not to treasure and keep you against his side as he travels over the oceans cold waters, than to keep you safe from the vile men who want you as their partner and the disgusting women who envy you for having it all.

omg and the part where he takes you to stay in his palace and asks you not to ever look at his face???? it’s killing him, to wear that mask to your nightly dinners, to be able to look at the soft curve of your mouth when you frown and ask him to reveal himself. to be able to look at how you stare back at him, eyes pretty and furious, frustrated and mad, wanting to go back on the conditions you agreed upon because having to sit across from him without seeing him is absolute torture. I am. vibrating.
